Leaky roof leads to desiccant rental

After this school discovered a leaky vent in their roof, they called SERVPRO of Southwest Lubbock to get some expert advice. Due to the ceiling height and square footage of the cafeteria, it was determined that a desiccant dehumidifier would be the best method to dehumidify this space in the fastest amount of time. The desiccant was brought in and placed on site. Intake and outtake tubing was placed, along with air movers to circulate the air and smaller dehumidifiers were placed to dry out the smaller spaces as well. The school was able to fix the vent that was leaking and a few ceiling tiles that were discolored and avoid any further problems from the water intrusion.
